YOUR PERSONAL APPROACH CADDIE
Photograph the target and lie. Talk through the distance, wind and how you feel today. Aimpin uses your bag and recorded play to help you choose a club, an aim and a risk worth taking.

01 / THE REASON WE PLAY
The same 150 yards calls for a different decision when the ball is buried, the pin sits by water, or your 7-iron is slicing today. We built Aimpin to give you a caddie who listens, uses the information you share, and explains the thinking behind the shot.
02 / YOUR ON-COURSE CADDIE
Bring the situation—and how you are playing today—into the conversation. Each hole has its own chat. Ask why, add details or correct them before you commit.
Bring a location screenshot from your golf app. Readable distances and hazards add context.
Aim the camera at the flag, then add a lie photo if needed. Share visible pin position, hazards and lie information.
Describe your rangefinder reading, local wind, lie, ground, feel or fatigue. Review and correct the transcription.
Skip any input step. The caddie asks for key missing information before choosing a club. A photo alone does not measure distance.

“156 yards, back-right pin, fairway. Wind from the front right. My 7-iron is slicing today, and I’m getting tired.”
Example strategy · Based on your own bag
Water on the right, and you mention a slice today. The caddie considers a safe landing area and your current form, explains the main plan and compares alternatives.
Go closer to the back-right pin, accepting less room to miss near the water.
Prioritize the middle and a safer landing area instead of chasing every flag.
If distance, lie or today’s form makes the attack unsuitable, discuss a layup and the next shot.
“What about a 6-iron?” Keep talking to compare. Correct a changed situation and request a fresh analysis.
Example voice transcription
“I hit the 7-iron. Short-right, into the bunker. Caught it a little fat.”
Describe the result or enter it manually; review, edit or undo it. A further approach on the same hole gets its own record. The advice and actual shot stay distinct.
Illustrated workflow. No recording, photo upload or live AI call takes place here.
03 / EVERY DECISION HAS A REASON
Club selection is one part of the answer. The caddie uses known information to weigh distance, hazards and landing areas—and explains the trade-offs.
Carry, total distance, lateral and depth dispersion, handedness, comfortable shot types and risk preference.
Distinguish raw laser, slope-adjusted and horizontal distance. Use available wind, temperature, humidity, pressure and altitude, with calculation assumptions shown.
Green shape, visible slope cues, pin position, water, bunkers, rough, trees and other lie conditions.
Green speed, firmness, wet or dry ground, feel, fatigue and your own description inform the landing area and plan.
Consult current club tendencies, past rounds and same-hole history. Today’s situation comes first; a few shots are not a conclusion.
Compare aggressive, normal and conservative plans. When appropriate, consider a layup with the remaining distance and next-shot direction.
Your on-site wind report takes priority over weather observations. Missing data and assumptions are disclosed. Plan scores are relative comparisons, not on-green probabilities.
04 / THE STORY BEHIND EVERY SHOT
Connect the scene before the shot, the caddie’s advice, your choice and what actually happened. Review where club selection, aim or execution deserves attention.
Distance, lie, wind and environment snapshots, pin / hazards, context and conversation.
Suggested plans, the choice you adopted, alternatives and tactical reasons.
Actual club / shot, final zone, hazards encountered, miss directions, estimated miss distance, multiple self-reported causes, notes and feel / fatigue snapshots.
05 / KNOW YOUR OWN GAME
Review by distance, club, course, advice adoption and recorded condition. With enough data, an AI coach review covers approach thinking, aim, drills and club gaps, then checks the previous focus in a later review.
Illustrative data, not a performance claim. Unknown outcomes are excluded from the success-rate denominator.

Next time at the range, pay attention to shots that finish short. Record actual carry and see how it compares with the distance you expect from that club.
06 / REHEARSE YOUR NEXT APPROACH
Take what you noticed on the course back to the range. Try 9 or 18 virtual approach holes, reading the situation and choosing a plan before each real swing. Review measured carry and dispersion before applying them to your bag for on-course advice.
See the pin, slopes and hazards. Give this shot a purpose.
Understand the club and aim using your bag and the conditions.
Record the result. Review measured distances and dispersion before applying them to your bag.
The caddie’s thinking
The right pin sits close to water. The middle leaves more room for a safe miss.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Share a location screenshot, target or lie photos, voice or text for each hole. Ask why, compare another club or describe a shot you have hit. Voice transcriptions can be corrected.
Golfers who want to think more clearly about approach shots and practice with purpose. Build your bag, then get suggestions based on your data and the conditions.
No dedicated simulator is required. Hit real balls at a range while the app supplies virtual approach challenges. Record an observed result, or add measured carry and lateral distance when available.
You record outcomes or enter measured values. Aimpin does not automatically track ball flight or landing with your phone alone.
The website offers a product preview. Full practice, the AI caddie and subscription payments happen in the iPhone app.
